February 2, 2024 - Fully mature, with aromas of roasted herbs, blood, and hints o coffee now over a rich, deliciously voluptuous body. The color is transitioning a bit with hints of red mahogany shining through the glass. I would say this is fully ready and best to drink over the next 3 years for the best of both worlds (Age and Power). Drink

February 28, 2023 - Top notch wine. More like Napa than Bordeaux, but there is nothing wrong with that.

September 3, 2022 - Too hot, the 16% alcohol level overwhelms it. Definitely new world style bordeaux, but too much heat. Maybe a few years will calm it down some???

November 24, 2021 - Was really hoping that I could get beyond the hot 16% ABV (printed on the label and much higher than mentioned in the press). The wine critic comments are strong on this wine but I found it to be a very big fruit bomb - so much for my bargain right bank with good critic scores - no mas.

September 16, 2021 - Checking in on this wine, and on my decision to stockpile it for weekly drinking. The trouble with this double patty monster is that it is so damn big that it is sandblasting my palate for anything in-between very large, and incredibly elegant (this being the former).

It is aging very we'll and starting to brew the usual characteristics of a St. Emilion in the form of merlot stench and decay, but still in impeccable balance. Based on this, I say this wine has a range of 10 years from release, with delicious ins and outs at different stages. I like this on the young side, and mid term. Drink over next 3 to 5 years
