  December 23, 2023 - An easy afternoon with close friends. (By BV @ PdV): The bouquet is still very youthful and lactic with dark and red berries and a good dose of oak. Same on the palate, cherries, good acidity, round but sticky tannin and a firm amount of sweetness. Overall a friendly wine which will improve over the next 3+ years and will probably last a decade after that. 92+

  November 11, 2023 - Vintage Wine - Bordeaux Tasting 11/11/23: 13.5% ABV. Deep ruby appearance, slight garnet at the rim.
  
  Notes of blackberry, cassis, black plum nutmeg, graphite, tobacco. Nice level of acidity to cut through the fruit. Rounded tannins and generous fruit gives a plush mouthfeel. Good length of finish.
  
  A polished wine that is clearly finely crafted but has no real distinguishing characteristics to push it up to the next level. Regardless, it’s delicious and I could drink this all day.

  November 3, 2023 - Nóvembersmakk Eðalklúbbsins 2023 (Bólstaðarhlíð 29): Það kom ekki fram hvort þetta vín hefði verið loftað og þá hversu lengi.
  Það var allavega frekar dökkt á litinn og smá ryð í kantinum greinilegt.
  Ilmur: Tjara, byggðasafn, kíví, skósverta, sólber, brómber, plóma og fenólar. Þéttur og flottur ilmur.
  Svo á tungunni: Paprika, grænir tónar, mynta, soðið kaffi, stutt og þunnt.
  Við byrjuðum með vínið í syrah glasi prófuðum svo að færa það yfir í cabernet glas og þá kom vínið talsvert betur út.
  Engu að síður fannst mér bragðið á víninu ákveðin vonbrigði því ilmurinn var virkilega fínn.

  October 15, 2023 - Vibrant, elegant and refined. Nice black fruit equally matched by earth, spices and mocha. Great texture and perfect balance. The tannins are silky and already nicely integrated. This will undoubtedly continue to improve, but it's already approachable and just outright delicious.
  
  Pronounced aromas of cassis, blackberry, black cherry, fresh plum, dried rose petals, leather, wet dirt, mushroom, cigar box, cinnamon stick, nut meg and mocha.
  
  Pronounced palate.
  
  Full body, high acidity, medium (+) tannins, long finish
