September 15, 2023 - Expressive terroir, plush, early maturity, structured backbone, herbaceous finish. A few words to describe this beautiful wine. I was surprised how approachable it is now. Decanted for 1 hour.

July 26, 2023 - The Clos de l'Oratoire from Saint-Emilion is one of the better and most accessible from the right bank that I have tried. Vintage 2015 is very good, not as good as 2016 in my opinion. Plums, black currants, cigar box, and a fantastic minerality. Good balance between acid and tannins, and a long finish. In terms of price, difficult to get a better wine in my opinion. Drink or hold.

May 6, 2023 - Not in prime drinking territory yet. Cloves and vanilla on the nose, but pretty unremarkable. Flavors of gooseberry, with leathery, dry aftertaste. First of 12, probably need more time to come into prime time.
