    April 20, 2024 - Deep ruby
Medium + intensity of concentrated fruit of black plums, black cherries, blackberries, mint, touch of smoke and vanilla. Primary fruit dominates. Very fruit driven. Like a Aussie Shiraz or a Napa cab.
On the palate the wine is dry with medium + acidity, medium integrated and silky tannins, high alcohol and full body. Pronounced intensity and long finish.
The quality is very good. It will be more complex in the future. Can drink now and suitable for aging.

March 26, 2024 - Find this too alcoholic - but there is a lot of substance as well. Close to Napa.

December 24, 2023 - Typical L'Evangile - outstanding! Great fruit, a bit more texture than expected.

November 27, 2021 - Tasted this at the ICCCW Domaines Baron de Rothschild Masterclass hosted by Jean-Guillaume Prats & Ch'ng Poh Tiong.

Dark purple with a creamy nose. Fresh bouquet with some wild honey and apricot notes. A touch of spices with black coffee. Soft & supple on the palate, like fluffy and puffed-up cushions. A warm and welcoming wine with a slightly salty finish. Freshness and sweetness of the ripe fruit was remarkable. Concentration without the heaviness, feminine in style. Made with 84% Merlot and 16% Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripe, chewy tannins.

November 26, 2021 - During a Lafite Rothschild portfolio tasting. Very attractive nose immediately after pouring with earl gray tea, dark fruit. It became a bit heavier with air. So a sexy as it is, this is a little on the ripe side, but a great showing nevertheless.
