March 15, 2024 - very disappointing, perhaps a tainted bottle based on others' scores. I thought it to be past its prime. Found it to have little flavor and no finish. Serviceable but not worth what I paid nor did it live up to others comments.

December 17, 2023 - I opened this after a Coravin taste caused some leak of the cork. Was opened for a party alongside Malescot 2015 and some other younger right bank wines. This wine is young but outstanding and just entering a good drinking window. 93+

December 5, 2023 - 1st of 6. The appearance of the wine is very youthful and dark. The nose is a bit dark and brooding, and needs time. It shows a good amount of oak at this point. The palate is rich and deep, with loads of delicious fresh and ripe fruit, and some oak showing. The 15% abv is noticeable, but not overpowering - the fruit depth and body of the wine itself stands up to the heat. The tannins are very fine and elegant, mostly quite ripe - but a touch of drying shows up after an hour or so of air. There is nice acidity, and the wine finishes long and delicious. It goes great with food. This should age well for decades.
