October 20, 2023 - JD Friday Wine Group - CAB Host (City Club FW - Wine Room): Tasted blind - light gold in the glass. All grapefruit and stone fruit on the nose. Definitely a Sauvignon Blanc. While acidic as it should be, it still felt soft on my palate, and was delicious. Flavors of stone fruit and cantaloupe. I was trying to make this a white Bordeaux guess, but the fruit seemed too sweet, and the nose not pungent enough. I guessed a white Bordeaux style Napa Sauvignon Blanc. The acidity in this wine cut through the lobster bisque and made for a great pairing.

December 24, 2022 - Lush, opulent nose of tropical fruit, honeysuckle, tree bark, wooly, slightly vegetal, green grass, a bit of funk.

Deliciously fruity with an amazing, ascending acidity that goes through the roof and keeps going. Still, not as profound as the Chevalier ‘13

April 22, 2022 - Tasted alongside the 93 Haut Brion Blanc, a rare opportunity indeed. While the HBB was fully mature, this wine seems to be just on the verge of entering its drinking window. If you have some, I'd suggest holding off for a year, perhaps two. Other than that, the 2015 LMHBB is spectacular. Reserved at first, with the Sauvignon dominating the nose and palate, the wine expanded over time as the Semillion awoke. A beautiful equilibrium was then established between the two grapes with the Sauvignon providing the needed acidity and structure and the Semillion supplying its characteristic volume and flair. The nose is flamboyant, the taste is expansive and the finish is long. An amazing experience. 97 tonight but the score is likely to go up as the wine continues to develop.

May 21, 2018 - Vibrant and mineral driven, the wine is full bodied, intense long, fresh and deep, with crisp acidity and purity of fruit in the , blend of crushed rocks, lemon peel, orange and background notes of honey in the finish.

May 3, 2016 - Feeling Pessac-Léognan pizzaz, appreciating dry extract #bdx15: whites and reds (Bordeaux, actually tasted during en primeur week): Only 590 cases produced, with 67% Semillon and 33% Sauvignon Blanc, this came off very refined, with white stone fruit like peach and apricot, a mid palate that rather opulent and savory with enough precise cool fruit aspects to keep it focused, leading to a long finish. 93-95
