  November 16, 2019 - Great early drinking Bordeaux. It has some crushed rocks and leather to go along with youthful fruit. Smooth finish. Enjoyable.

  April 9, 2019 - A rather feminine Bordeaux wine with a varietal composition of 65 % Merlot, 27 % Cabernet Franc and 8 % Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for eighteen months in French barriques, of which 70 percent were new. Medium ruby-red in color and a sweetly-fruited nose revealing scents of violets, stewed red fruits, dark chocolate, vanilla and a touch of smoke. The medium-bodied, elegantly styled palate offers ripe plum and blackberry fruit, a good balance and quite polished tannins. Harmonious aftertaste. Let the wine breathe one hour before serving. Drinking window: now–2024.
  
  Een eerder vrouwelijke Bordeaux-wijn met een samenstelling van 65 % Merlot, 27 % Cabernet Franc en 8 % Cabernet Sauvignon; hij kreeg een rijping van achttien maanden in Franse barriques mee (waarvan 70 percent nieuw). Medium robijnrood van kleur en een zachte, fruitige neus met aroma’s van viooltjes, gestoofd rood fruit, donkere chocolade, vanille en ook wat rokerige nuances. Een middelkrachtige, elegante wijn met rijp pruimen- en bramenfruit, fraai in balans en met al vrij gepolijste tannines. Harmonieuze afdronk. Geef de wijn wat zuurstof alvorens hem te degusteren. Te drinken: nu–2024.

  November 30, 2017 - Grand Cercle wines: Mainly 2015 just bottled (Chateau de Pressac Saint Emilion): Could this be perhaps the best of the grand cru classés tasted at the Grand Cercle? Why? Not as "drying out" as the others on the finish, as it has both a fleshy palate and lift.
