February 22, 2024 - Took a while to open up, once it did plenty of nice dark fruit. As others have said plenty of grip/tannins still maybe a touch too early still so would let this soften a touch more. Wouldn’t say there is enough fruit concentration in this wine to go long haul but couple of more years IMO.

February 18, 2024 - Smooth and polished Merlot driven wine that is in a good place with a few years of bottle age. Might improve a little over the next 3 years or so but drinking pretty well right now with some nice dark velvety fruit. Tannins are a little prominent still for this type of wine and may soften a little. Solid wine.

January 20, 2024 - Lovely deep coloured fleshy wine that is now in its drinking window, big structure will keep this going for another decade but with plenty of air this is a lovely generous if slightly tannic wine to enjoy now

July 2, 2023 - Oak and muted fruit.
Very, very tannic - perhaps too tannic to drink at the moment. Pyrazine and red fruit. Peppery with a hint of greenness. Oak on the finish.
Finishes hard and the flavor fades before the tannin. Tannin absolutely dominant. Too much extraction? -

June 16, 2023 - 3 bottles opened at short notice for a bbq (PnP) and was a good partner to steak, sausages and burgers. Generic hedge fruit, cream, tannins better integrated than prior bottles. Like La chenade I feel this wine has been over hyped, nothing wrong with it, nor is it particularly outstanding or great value.
