April 28, 2024 - Inky purple with long legs. Juicy, round bouquet with freshness from red fruits and berries, sawdust and tea leaf. Feels open and fresh, but still very primary. The palate is medium+ bodied, ripe, well balanced with rounded acidity and silky tannins. This is in a good place right now, but added complexity could be gained by extended cellaring.

November 18, 2023 - Dark berries, black currant, coffee, dark chocolate and oak on the nose. Integrated oak in the finish with blackberries and blackcurrant in a perfect amount. The wine is well balanced and well integrated and in blind tasting my guess would have gone to an older vintage. Full body, medium+ tannins and medium+ acidity.

May 21, 2018 - Floral notes meld with black raspberries, licorice, espresso and dark chocolate giving the wine its character. The wine has soft tannins and an approachable, forward personality.

February 5, 2018 - UGCB 2015 tasting (Amsterdam): Perfumed wine with beautiful oak, good acidity and powerful tannin. Full bodied and beautiful wine with a great future. 92 - 93+

May 4, 2016 - Welcome to Merlot Al Dente #Bdx15 - and other tales from Saint Emilion (Bordeaux, actually tasted during en primeur week): Delicious ripe fruit expressions, balanced and a rich yet rather nuanced barrel sample. Clean fruit, medium to full body, fine finish, with freshness. Bravo! 90-92
