June 16, 2018 - Lots of concentration, oak, liquorice, spices on the nose. Decent acidity on the nose, a bit of alcohol coming through, lots of fruit, linear. 87-89

May 21, 2018 - Smoky with plums cherry and herbal essences are on the nose. On the palate, espresso beans, smoke, earth, black cherries and licorice burst out of the starting gate. This wine is soft, polished, round leaves you with fresh, salty plums in the finish.

May 4, 2016 - Welcome to Merlot Al Dente #Bdx15 - and other tales from Saint Emilion (Bordeaux, actually tasted during en primeur week): The attack is brisk enough but I could not get past a bit too much oak derived tannins, suggested by the aromatics. The juicy mid palate reassures, but it gets a bit (oak-derived) drying on the finish however. 87-89
