October 20, 2021 - Not too much oak, full in flavour and good integration of the alcohol (14.5), has signs of aging but was still in a good shape on the second day. Would drink now, as I see now room for development and more risk of oxidation.

August 27, 2021 - Sadly premoxed and undrinkable. I hope someone can figure this out. It’s just not worth the risk to age white wine for me any more.

July 18, 2021 - Prior bottle was only a month ago, so my notes were essentially unchanged (this wine had shown so well, there was no reason to delay). Mixed white orchard fruit and lemon notes on the nose. Medium bodied with apple and pear notes again upfront, moving to white peach through the middle. Backside shows citrus notes (especially lemon) and good structural acidity. Just like my prior bottle, balance was again a strength as the initial brightness of the fruit took on a more rounded feel through the middle, but the fruit also gained expression and showed good complexity. Drinking well at present and should be able to hold this level for at least another year, probably a bit beyond but it's in such a good spot right now, there's no benefit to waiting. I would certainly buy more for current consumption if I run across it in the near term.

June 18, 2021 - Prior bottle was nearly two years ago and this wine continues to show quite well. White orchard fruit and oak/vanilla on the nose. Medium bodied with soft, open apple and pear qualities upfront. These fruit notes gain definition through the mid-body and the addition of peach notes adds to complexity. The wine also gains in brightness as you move from initial impressions through the mid-body. Combining this with the structural acidity and tart citrus notes on the backside made for very positive contrast. The oak/vanilla notes which were a point of note in prior bottles seemed much better integrated now. Especially as it warmed, this may have been the best showing for this wine so far in terms of balance. Very pleased with where this wine is today and with one bottle left and given how well it's showing, I'll open it in either July or November 2021.

February 4, 2021 - Excellent showing tonight, burgundy meets California in all the right ways. Well done.
