  August 28, 2022 - I sometimes go hot and cold on there. I really just need to remember they need time and I should hold them all at least six, preferably eight to ten years. This bottle is excellent.

  March 24, 2021 - Dark yellow, medium acid, full creamy body. Earlier notes suggesting honey and bruised apples are spot on. I suspect this is declassified barrels from the single appellation bottlings, but its one of the most enjoyable Sandlands chenin in memory. Maybe the bottling, maybe these just need the time?

  December 30, 2020 - Agree with CPS note below. Honey and over ripe/bruised yellow apple, but the texture on the mid-palate is really distinctive: waxy, viscous, but only 12% alcohol. A streak of acid on the finish, but not quite as searing as I expected. Not flabby, but a bit less structured than I would prefer. One left, which I think I'll hold for a few years, mostly out of curiosity.

  June 21, 2020 - Very crisp and refreshing. Paired with some more spice-oriented food and this did a nice job of softening those edges and rounding out. It's prob a bit rounder than what you see coming from Loire, but that strong acid and nice tartness has an old world feel to it. Drinking nicely.
