October 1, 2022 - Dark purple color, very opaque. Nose shows musty fruit, forest pine, black olive, toasty oak.
In the mouth, the wine shows a more savory aspect with the fruit fading slightly into the background. Nonetheless, blackberry, dark cherry, and plum flavors emerge on the persistent finish. Lovely wine.

April 24, 2021 - Lots of sweet perfumed blackberry fruit on the nose along with fresh cut flowers; it is blackberry pie up front, the quickly morphs into red cherry, bitter plum, and garden herbs and refreshing acidity. Finish is medium long and silky.
