July 28, 2023 - Translucent ruby red in the glass. Delicate aromas of warm red fruit, Christmas baking spice, spring flowers, and faint cedar. Quite effervescent.
In the mouth, a velvety texture gains traction fast showcasing vibrant black cherry up front turning toward raspberry and other red fruits mid-palate. Earth, dried herbs, black tea, and faint mineral notes also emerge on the long expressive finish. Cedar oak is barely noticeable and there are no green flavors. Great effort, drinking beautifully right now as a mature wine with all the components having come together. Drink now - 2026. -

September 20, 2020 - Dark cherries, hints of black pepper, oregano, a beautiful balance between fruit and spice, a hint of oak on the nose, dark chocolate, enough tanin to provide structure but not overpowering.
