April 17, 2024 - Vic's. Cork was "sauce" per its owner, but this was a sound wine in spite of that with big body, substantial tannins and ripe blackberry fruit that sent initial guesses into the Ribera del Duoro. Also there: baking spices and herbs. Excellent.

January 20, 2024 - Very nice nose of creme de cassis, black raspberry reduction, black currant, fartons baking, mint and sweet vanillin oak. Med-full bodied, this has lots of red and black currants, black plum, a hint of bell pepper, blackberry, wood smoke and new oak. Still moderately tannic with fresh acidity, this can be called mature at this point, but there is lots of life left. Drink now-2032+ 94
