January 30, 2024 - Wonderful stuff. Rich and effortless, but with true balance. Almost a "classical" ripe Bordeaux-esque nose with plenty of soft cassis, plum compote, other assorted black fruits with an ever-so-slightly baked profile (without being jammy.) A great dose of baking spice to lend complexity and nuance, but not even close to an "oaky" style. Not a surprise standout, but beautiful wine. I wouldn't age longer, it's in a lovely spot.

November 13, 2019 - Nice wine! Good fruit but not overdone, balanced with enough structure.
Has a long dry finish which calls one back for more. Drinking well. -

August 8, 2019 - Quite intense without being rich/opulent
Re-iterating a previous note, the grenache addition to a syrah/cab blend makes for an interesting touch -

March 20, 2018 - Showing a lot of character, the odd touch of grenache is not obvious but clearly adds a note of spice that charms
