October 28, 2023 - Deep ruby color with long legs. Aroma and deep flavor of extremely ripe strawberries - not the fresh fruity kind, but the very old strawberries that you forgot in the back of the refrigerator. Amazing flavor but subtle, in the middle and background. Some bricky dryness along the sides. Wow, am I sorry this is the last bottle. Actually, it had gotten lost in a wooden box for a decade with some French Bordeauxs. Served before and with a butcher-cut T-bone steak. Couldn’t ask for a better combination.
