  May 27, 2017 - Nice, clean Pinot Bianco. Pear, citrus, white peach, herbal, nutty, wet stoney minerality. A little flabby on mid-palate, but a nice, long, crisp, complex finish. Great bargain!

  July 31, 2016 - The Elena Walch winery has been on my wine radar. My wish list has both the Gewurtz and the Schiava. Found the Bianco in Whole Foods at a decent price. This is a complex wine for a white Pinot. The normal mineral and white fruit I expect but the added herbs and some unknown that brings it all together. Just a small bite on the finish brings it down from a 92/93. Wonder how it will age?

  April 28, 2016 - A ton of herbal and mineral notes here, perhaps overshadowing the fruit a bit but still a bright, fresh white. Would love to follow this for a few years and see if the fruit takes more of a role. Definite potential here.
