March 7, 2010 - Deep,complex, rich cherry, forest floor, tobacco, leather. mouth filling, well balanced with a very long finish. Wonderful. No rush to drink the remaining bottles.

October 5, 2009 - A fantastic rosso - the Costantis always seem to benefit from a few years' patience. Fragrant dark cherry, woodsy and a hint of licorice. Drinking deliciously with one hour of slow-ox.

May 25, 2007 - Bright ruby color. Aromas of berries, fresh black fruit and some floral tones. Medium bodied, fresh acidity and slightly edgy tanines. Quite well integrated now (I expect better than one of the previous notes). Nice now, could perhaps smoothen out a bit more. Drink now or give it one more year.

June 8, 2006 - Poured by Andrea Costanti at the winery in Montalcino. Nice floral nose. Young and tannic. Flavors are fragmented and segmented, not harmonious. Considerable acidity. Alcohol 13.5%. Drink after 2007.
