July 21, 2023 - Tasted with a friend in preparation for a Piedmont Tasting. Dark color with dark fruit on the nose and palate. In spite of the age it took quite some time to show the fruit. A more powerful expression of Nebbiolo than the 2016 Paolo Scavino Langhe Nebbiolo we tasted with it which was a more elegant style.

June 24, 2023 - PnP. Pen duft med modne kirsebær, moreller og litt nyper. Noe fioler og krydder etterhvert. Flott nese. Litt mer modning i munnen med skogbunn og tobakk. Mineralsk. God avslutning med sopp og lær i rekylen. Bærer 14,5 % abv meget pent, balansert pakke dette her. Helt peak nå for min gane og dette var siste flaske.

May 28, 2023 - PnP. Litt flaskevariasjon er det på disse flaskene. Dette var kanskje den svakeste. Mer modning enn sunt er. Rustikk og preget av jern. Fadet etter tre timer åpen.

Le nez est assez discret d’abord puis s’affirme sur des notes classiques de griottes et de goudron.
En bouche, le vin est complet, un peu uniforme mais agréable, acidité bien présente et bonne finale.

December 31, 2022 - Garnet orange colour. Mushroom, oxidation but not passed away at all; still feel some violet and crushed red fruit. The mouthfeel is better than the nose, with high level of fine tannins and good acidity. For me I got this bottle at its perfect drinking window. Don’t wait.
