Palate shows similar notes, blackberry, baking spice, cassis, nice layers of complexity, coffee grounds in there. Medium plus tannins, alcohol, body, and finish. Nice modern profile.

February 18, 2017 - Argentinian Reds (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 64% Malbec, 18% C.S., 11% Merlot, 5% C.F., & 2% Petit Verdot
N: Closed/muted; berries atop smoke & earth?
P: Med, poss LM, body; Nice frt met by some mid palate pucker, which turns VERY slightly astringent by the long finish. I'd give this elegant, balanced style 6 mos or so, then drink thru '20 min.
