May 17, 2022 - A beautifully deep crimson colour promises good things to come. The nose is an amalgam of pepper and Rhone like spices with some baked meat in the mix. The feature of the wine is the core of deep blackberry and plum like flavours that are very well supported by excellent oak and refreshing acid. The wine is excellent drinking right now and will hold for some time to come.

September 16, 2021 - Black crimson colour. Aroma of spice and dark fruit, sweet tobacco, pepper, cumin. Much smoother on the second night. Dark chocolate, plum, blueberry. Dusty tannin, hardly noticeable but providing good balance. Acidity a bit on the week side, not quite flabby.
It was definitely a bit sharp on the first night, so does need some decanting. Worth waiting a couple of extra years for it to hit its peak.

November 11, 2020 - Dark crimson colour with lots of blackberry, earthy and tobacco notes on the nose , acidity is just right. medium finish
Decanted for an hour it is drinking very well now and will keep improving over the next few years

December 13, 2018 - Opaque black colour with a Crimson hue. Light aroma of cedar, varnish, blackberries. Sweet berries, dark chocolate, aniseed. Medium body, medium finish. Smooth, lively acidity.
The wine is progressing well, I believe it has more improvement in it. Will probably keep improving for the next 5 years. Not near its peak yet.
