January 7, 2021 - Popped, ran through the Venturi, and poured right out of 56 degree cellar. Probably a mistake as this improved considerably over 90 minutes as it aired out and rose to room temperature. Translucent garnet. Nose initially reticent, with fruit lacking on attack and midpalate, and off-putting finish with strong anise and licorice notes. Over time, everything improved and settled down with sweet red fruits, touch of sour cherry on the finish, and interesting mineral flavors in the background. Suggest drinking within the next 3 years, and give it at least a 60 minute decant.

November 17, 2019 - This is in high gear right now. Gorgeous cherry fruit juice on the nose. Amazing out of the bottle, but with a little air, it goes to another level. Dark fruits. Incredible qpr. May be underrating.

March 12, 2019 - Great qpr at $28 on WTSO. Filled out with some airtime. Lovely all-around Pinot with mixed red fruits and a bit of pepper in the finish.
