April 8, 2023 - Forthcoming bouquet. Suggestive of deep, crevassed earth, basted in licorice, roasted pan drippings, rose, and nut root. 1976 Impala dashboard. Cigarettes. Asphalt. Inside is a feminine, stiffly folded and perfumed event. Black bing. Sinews under tension, pulsing with sap. Glycerin, visceral muscle will not condescend. Train station coffee, brewed in a moka pot. West I-94 out of Chicago. Sticky, granular bones. Tarry, irregular grit. Steeply concentrated. Wait a year—at least—before drinking another.

November 14, 2018 - Beau nez total pinotte. Grande pureté, parfumé, avec la richesse du millésime mais avec de la fraîcheur. Belle structure en finesse et bonne longueur. Très bon RQP dans le contexte des prix actuels pratiqués dans la région. 92

En bouche c’est différent : fruits rouges croquants, c’est séveux, trés séveux même vert il faut l’admettre. Pour 2015, c’est un tour de force. Ça sent la cueillette en sous maturité. La longueur n’est pas extraordinaire et la structure non plus. C’est malgré tout bien fait, mais bien fait beaujo milieu de gamme, pas bien fait bourgogne à 55$. Encore ? Non, trop cher.
