June 30, 2021 - The filling-level od this botte was mid shoulder, the cork was intact. Medium to dark garnet colour. Red fruit, red cherry, tobacco, sage, some espresso, spices, cinnamon, mushroom, sous-bois notes, and pebbly minerality, with good acidity, fully resolved tannin, and very good length. Some old age sweetness. Smoothly textured, and very harmonious. Really quite beautiful. After about one hour the wine started to slowly decline. Fully mature; drink soon.

December 28, 2019 - Another excellent bottle drinking very well

December 25, 2019 - High neck fill. Cork still in questionable condition as it was quite loose.
    Decanted shortly before dinner.
This wine needed to warm up a little to show full aromatics, but eventually the gravelly, tobacco character showed up. There are still remnants of fruit and the texture is quite intense.
If not for the corks, this wine should age nicely.

October 19, 2019 - Fieuzal Vertical: Vegetable, cigar box, slight charcoal character, bell pepper. Iron on the nose and palate. Still very much alive. Some sweetness on the finish with a graphite character.
