December 27, 2022 - Christmas gathering with high school friends: Brought this to do a side-by-side with the Donum. Quite dark and a little smoky, obviously more restrained compared to the Donum with more earthy and savoury notes. Much better with air as it had a cola note that was a little distracting at first. First time trying this producer, reminded me a little of Roty's wines in style.

October 30, 2021 - Profound color, good concentration, enticing complex dark berry bouquet: typical côtes-de-nuits at its best. Full bodied and somewhat firm, starting to open after once hour. Black berries with a hint of violet dominate the taste with a pleasant meaty undertone. Surprising length. Much more than a poor man‘s NSG. Should improve over the next couple of years, but wonderful now. Incredible value. Sorry: I don’t score wines.

May 9, 2019 - a little reduction with dark berry fruit under it. Bright dark red fruit with good concentration, that builds in the mid-palate. gently enveloped in oak. Has the 2014 directness and tannin meant for aging. Pretty, but give it until 2021 or later.
