  July 9, 2021 - Plenty of youthful fruit and good acidity here. No need to search and search for something green everyone thinks you need to find in a 2004 (I think a lot of people convince themselves it has to be there because that’s what they read about “all of the’04s”). None here. A genuinely good wine but not great.

  July 10, 2006 - Round, earthy, spicy, and a bit hot. Tangy sweet cherry with an edge. Good coverage across the palate with light, tacky, teeth coating bright tannins. Too acidic on finish. Dense coffee, leather. Chewey oak. Has a lively warm quality to it. Silk needs to come forward, wood needs to mellow. Young with potential to improve.
