March 23, 2024 - 230324: Celebrating DQ's Bday at Uovo Asador with immacutely curated menu and wines by birthday boy himself. My bottle tb which I popped 2 hrs before & bottle breathe. Nose: Blackberries, black cherries, and plums, accompanied by notes of dried fig & herbs, black pepper, with a subtle touch of smoky oak. Well-integrated tannins with concentrated flavors of ripe black fruits. Very classic Northern Syrah with showing layers of complexity with hints of licorice, spices, and a touch of earthiness

February 4, 2023 - Softer, with an elegant aged leather baseball glove. Fruit is gorgeous. Really, really pretty fresh picked ripe red cherries. Definitely the most Bordeaux esque of the Rhônes I’ve ever had. For the starfuckers out there, this is a 100 pointer. @ Oiji Mi

October 27, 2019 - Needs long decant(8-12 hours) to work off some rubber, and wet cardboard. Also, a touch too polished/modern out of gate but the long decant will bring out welcomed, traditional notes. Once nose cleans up, the fruit is pure and understated. Elegant and light-bodied.

September 25, 2017 - Chapoutier Ermitage Tasting (Alpharetta, GA): Reddish violet, good clarity; violets and sweet purple fruit, oak, some balm, blue fruit; slight angular tannin, fresher fruit, somewhat light and modern.

November 24, 2015 - 50 ANNI AIS PIEMONTE (TORINO MUSEO DELL' AUTOMOBILE): Da Magnum. Verdure bollite, prugne e cuoio. Sugo di carne e mostarda.
Bocca glicerica, ovattata e oleosa. Tannino perfettamente compiuto e vellutato. Finale di erbe amare e sale che amplifica e distende il sorso.
    Molto buono e easy
