February 14, 2024 - Lemon, tomato leaves, vanilla, melon, pear and chamomile with evolved gasoline notes. Lemon, green apple in the mouth, feels quite fresh and young with very high acidity, slightly oily texture. Long fruity fresh finish

September 23, 2022 - Unscrewed and poured, consumed over 2 hours. Appearance: Clear, medium lemon. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of pear, apple, tropical fruit - mango and pineapple, sage, white pepper, and grass. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium body with a slightly creamy mouth-feel, medium+ intensity, 14.0% abv with flavors of tropical fruit - mango and pineapple, sage, and red apple with a medium+ finish. Overall an excellent wine excelling in intensity and complexity, drink now or over next 3 years.

March 27, 2022 - It's so extraordinarily complex, with fennel, sage, green olive, freshly shelled peas, bruised apple, hay, and hazelnut notes. Immense on the body and the finish. Not a Marlborough SB for sipping on a hot afternoon - this is very much a food wine.

December 19, 2021 - Bai Family House Warming (Remuera, Auckland): pear, moderate ripe fuji apple, some tropical and citrus, far away the grassy Marlborough SB flavours. a little creamy and nutty notes. full body, long finish. well mellowed and showing elegance with concentration, very nice.
