November 2, 2018 - Mellowed since last bottle. Fine grained tannins still evident, med length, slightly sweet on finish. All creamy red and blue berry fruit, pruney, jammy finish. Interesting BC red.

May 31, 2018 - Really showing well right now. This is very elegant and it's now more settled than it was 12-18 months ago. Not a big cab franc; it's more about finesse than power. Don't believe it will improve much more, but it has enough fruit to last at least another 3 years.

February 5, 2017 - Best bottle so far. Amazing floral nose (white and violet flowers) with hints of cherries, almost sweet. RS on the palate, that make the wine a bit heavy/unbalanced. Overall, a fun wine. Drink or hold for a few more years.

November 4, 2016 - Bought last 2 btls from RHW based on reviews read here, and pNp one tonight. Agree with above average rating - this is ready to drink now, should stay in this zone for a couple of years and then who knows...All berries and red fruits in the mouth, very ripe and lively, slight tannins, sweet and medium finish. Not complicated, good quality, easy to drink, just as Brad Royale intended.

September 4, 2016 - Very similar to my previous note, very rich almost sweet on the palate. Nice combinaison of Christmas spices and compoted red berries. Once again, I would recommend to enjoy now rather than in 5 years.
