  December 9, 2022 - Excellent New World Cab Franc that pulls in classic Loire elements but ripe fruit, showing some development (even under screwcap). No notes, but enjoyed with a mushroom risotto.

  July 18, 2018 - This was really tasty right from the unscrew and it took on more floral notes and gained in elegance and structure as it aired. A very smooth mouthfeel and just the lightest oak in the bouquet, with a harmonious balance of tannins/alcohol/acidity and I can't help but add the descriptor "fun to drink". The Loire/Chinon similarity mentioned by other reviewers is a good reference, though this still seems in the New World boat to me. Not enough earth, leather, and other "poop" for OW, but it is still quite delicious and that's all that matters ;) I drank this on its own, but would love to match it up with some spaghetti Bolognese. Should last at least several more years under screwcap. 4+12+16+8= 90

  January 8, 2018 - Enjoyed over two nights. I read the four preceding notes and agree with them all! This is the most Loire-like domestic Cab Franc I've ever had. That's what I'd have guessed tasting blind. A bit more stuffing and fruit than stereotypical bistro Loire, but certainly not out of place for more serious ones during warm-ish vintages.

  July 30, 2017 - Dark ruby with a light blackberry nose. Seems a bit young with fresh fruit on opening. Night two, brambles up front with light bitter note, good balance, but still needs some time. Green pepper and spicey notes starting to appear.
