August 8, 2017 - Classic color, with really pretty aromas, really good freshness, vintage notwithstanding. Bright, with some citrus, fresh red and white floral, soil. the palate is less exciting, the finish is medium at best. Not sure if this has the goods to develop more than it has today, but Nebbiolo, and perhaps especially traditionally-grown/made Nebbiolo, has schooled more than one person. High acidity, mostly resolved tannins. That said, it's a very good value, and a terrific table wine; humble, understated, solid. 14,5% abv. (resolved), drink 2018-2027. recommended+

July 15, 2016 - The nose showed spicy red fruits including cherry and raspberry, along with fresh floral tones and hints of undergrowth. On the palate, I found rich textures with a mix of red fruit and blackberry, along with tobacco and minerals, which lasted throughout the finish.
