April 26, 2018 - Light transparent ruby in color. Inviting and lovely nose of woody spice, cinnamon, red fruit and a mild earthy truffle. Nice core of tart red cherry fruit shoots through the mid-palate. Even some red apple. Elegant. Tannin nicely balanced. Length is pretty good. I'm of two minds on this wine: 1) for Bourgogne, it's quite tremendous; 2) for the retail price, it's merely good.
