January 15, 2023 - Somewhat earthy and dark in profile, not so much of the red-fruited strawberry side. Not a big drinker of burgundy but still felt this lacked some "Pinot fruit" markers - almost a little generic. Pretty integrated as far as I can tell. A nice wine, drinking at its peak. Not a smashing value in my book.

    June 6, 2019 - 1hr decant
    Eye: Deep crimson
    Nose: cherry, spice, oak toast
Palate: black cherries, black fruits, earth and wood with medium plus acidity and medium finish.

Overall this drinking nicely now. Solid structure and acidity, lovely. Enjoy!

March 17, 2017 - 2014 Domain Rollin Pernand-Vergelesses Wines (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Ruby. Aromatically stunted at this point. Weightier and more textured than the Fichots. Earth and red/black fruit, crisp acidity, and better intergrated tannins than that wine. I like the balance and length. The tannins stayed with throughout most of a 15 drive home. This is the most complete wine of the 3 reds but needs 5 to 10+ years to open. Excellent for this appellation.
