April 17, 2024 - From a 375 ml. Light pale golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of sweet peaches, apricot & lemon peel with overtones of floral & spice notes, honey, stony, minerals & a hint of petrol in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth texture, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of stone fruits of yellow peaches, nectarines & citrus notes, a bit of honey, spices & minerals. Very good balance between the sweetness & acidity. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present & even at 9 years of age, it still has the potential to develop further with additional aging. [A.P. Nr. 2 576 162 3816; Alc. 8%].

April 3, 2021 - Shy yet rather lovely nose, all petrol, white flowers and lemon peel. Ripping acidity on palate wonderfully balanced the mild and playful sweetness, with delicate agrumes, some lemon sherbet and a pleasantly long finish. Blind I would have felt more Kabinett than Spatlese. Very nice

June 4, 2019 - Drank over 3 nights. This was completely closed on night one. It was as if my sense of taste didn't work as it was giving nothing. Night two offered a glimpse of the potential. This is an old school wine that's light on its feet with zingy acid and just a hint of residual sugar. The wine was stunning on day 3 with everything turned up to the max including loads of stony minerals, with complimentary acids and citrus fruit. I'd hold this for a while and would guess that this will be a long lived wine.

November 11, 2018 - Similar to 13 months ago, and again, with enough acidity behind the sweet (but also slightly savory/ pleasant touch of bitter) yellow fruit to keep it fresh and engaging. Very enjoyable over for nights.

June 3, 2018 - Nose opens up with more pungency and minerality/volcanic character? than foral or fruits, more austere and unlike most Mosel Riesling i had before. Palate is much more eager to please, so well-pitched and already supremely balanced. Both elegant and showy. Wonderfully energetic but not the least bit acidic.
