February 27, 2022 - This is in a very good spot right now. Dark red. Earthy, dusty nose with mostly dark fruits. The palate is rich with cassis and black berries in a juicy acidity. Fine grained tannins on a dry, dusty, earthy base with a forest floor touch. Soft, spicy lingering finish with some woody spices. Tertiary notes are just appearing and this easily have another 5 years before starting to decline.

January 2, 2021 - So....the 3 hour decant , required for this wine produced even better results .
On nose and palate: similar notes to bottle#1 sampled in early December, with a better balance of fruit and herbal notes, and a slightly fuller body.
Added complexity came with more notes of blueberry and light Kona coffee, in addition to the herbal and faint lavender notes....a fine , food friendly Gigondas.

December 12, 2020 - On nose: faint notes of Damson plum and chalk and light damp earth.
On palate: all above flavour notes, in addition to dry , faint notes of Lavender , savoury, and thyme...clean, persistent chalky tannins support this fine food wine...may age well for a few years, but not beyond...drinking well now.
Final note: decanting for 3 hours is a must....on initial opening , it displayed damp wood and excessive barnyard notes....which dissapated with air contact.

July 27, 2020 - Plein de vie. Super RQP.

April 10, 2020 - A complex, mature wine that's more serious in style. Very good.
