October 23, 2022 - Latricières-Chambertin theme at Maison Dakota late night. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of ripe red cherries, sweet earth, licorice. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet red cherries, red berries, young earth, licorice, sweet spices. Long finish. Lovely smooth red fruits still on day 3.
Very good quality. Surprisingly good Latricieres from this oft overlooked negociant. Still young but drinking well. Can age a good few more years too.
