  April 26, 2019 - Served with grilled salmon cooked over alder wood, along with 2017 Patricia Green Reserva and a 2014 Nuiton-Beaunoy Beaune Burgundy. Had my sister and her husband for dinner. I have had the Patricia Green Reserva and the Evening Land Seven Springs on several occasions and thoroughly enjoy both wines. The Patricia Green was the WOTN, but the Evening Land was delightful as usual. The Nuiton-Beaunoy was good, but lighter and needs to be drunk up. The Patricia Green and Evening Land should continue to improve for several years.

  February 18, 2019 - Served with grilled minute steaks, the second bottle of 2014 Nuiton-Beaunoy Beaune was even better than the first. Moderate fruit, good acidity, cherries and spice, and a good mid-range and finish. This is a very good, if relatively inexpensive Burgundy. A nice comparison for the many Oregon Pinot Noirs I have been drinking lately (and many of them compare well).

  July 8, 2018 - This is a good, relatively inexpensive, Burgundy from Beaune. Lighter style, clean fruit, good acidity and finish. Should hold for a few years. I will try to buy more of these.
