August 13, 2022 - What this lacks in complexity it makes up for it in pure simple pleasure. Oak that was a little overwhelming when young has moved to the background and left nice slightly sweet fruit on show. I also don’t get alcohol noticed in my previous comment. This is in a great place now but I sense it will hold for a few more years. Why wait.

March 1, 2022 - Punches way above its weight. While I can't imagine Wine Advocate giving this a 97 (as they did the 2013), this is a lovely bordeaux-style blend with lots of charm. Dark purple with black fruit and underbrush and sweet wood with a dash of minerality. Delicious now popped and poured, should improve a bit with more age. Excellent QPR at $17.50.

June 29, 2021 - 2 more years in the cellar has resulted in another point bump. Wish I bought more at $21.00 5 years ago.
