November 22, 2015 - Notes after following for about six hours open. It needed a good two hours of air to seam together. Pitch dark, hazy ruby color with clear and very slow legs and a big throw of sediment. Medium strength bouquet, driven by cassis, raspberry, marshmallow creme, some pencil shavings, and light vanilla bean. Probably just hitting its stride on the palate as the flavors go very long and the weight is very smooth and supple. Shooting above its pay grade. Decant for sediment and aeration and drink over next 4-5 years. 5+12+17+8= 92
