April 10, 2024 - Quite tertiary already with a strong mushroom aroma. On the palate the wine was somewhat bitter and astringent. Over the top or in a close phase? Not as good as expected

February 4, 2024 - Had this bottle in a restaurant with friends (thanks to the donor!).
The bottle was decanted and is ready to drink, while probably at the beginning of its drinking window.
On the nose, this wine offers fresh cherry, earthiness and (green) herbs.
Tannins are round and integrated, no noticeable oak.
Great balance and length, plus the acidity offers good freshness. -

June 30, 2023 - Spätburgunder und so weiter; 6/29/2023-6/30/2023 (Noizé): The grandest wine of the flight, but also the most tightly coiled. A similar acid core to the Jülg - more dignified perhaps - but one got the sense that there's a lot more to be revealed, with time. Interestingly, our sommelier ranked this highly.

June 28, 2023 - Spätburgunder und so weiter (Noizé, London): Real blackcurrant depth here to the nose and a lovely intensity like a few drops of a high quality red wine reduction. Also there's a suggestion of aniseed and some candied plum. Palate is not the longest of the evening but is correct and shows a bresaola character. One senses time ahead.
