April 20, 2024 - a lot going on. light tertiary notes, bright medium high acidity, red currant, plums, herbs, smoky, with dark chocolate and leather. medium body, on the elegant side, no harsh tannins, good palette but not much on the finish. not better on day2.

April 6, 2024 - Opened this way too young. Tons of acidity and oak. There may be some fruit hiding behind but the acidity and oak obscured it. At least 5-10 years are needed to get even a taste of it. Disappointed today.

December 1, 2023 - i liked this (but not as much as i wanted to) - maybe more for what it has the potential to be. nose was very engaging straight away... pungent, earthy, stewed fruit, perhaps almost more like a super tuscan. palate was notably sweeter than i'd expected, weightier too. spices, lots of acidity and tannin. my sense is this needs another several years on its side. have high hopes this has the stuffing to be great in the future.

August 22, 2023 - Initial aroma, loamy, distant campfire.
Tight, reserved, acidic on the palate.
I fear this one is too young. Will hold other bottle for at least 5 more years.
2nd day, no change with air exposure

4th day best. Finally became a great wine, muted chocolate coming out while still maintaining acidity, nice complexity. Upping rating

July 20, 2023 - 94 Un vino importante. Enterisimo, con un precioso color rubí intenso. Nariz elegante, madera fina, mucha fruta roja y negra. En boca es un vino muy equilibrado, con una acidez imponente y con mucha fruta. Un magnífico vino, que evolucionará perfectamente por muchos años más.
