September 7, 2021 - Audouzed for 8 hours, drinking very well at this point. Lovely Northern Rhône style Syrah. Vibrant nose of black fruit with blackberries and a touch of meat on the palate.
Drink now or hold for 5.

October 11, 2018 - Great Syrah. Needs lots of air at this point. 12 hour slow ox for this bottle was good. This wine will only get better with age but approachable now with lots of air. Enjoy !

December 31, 2016 - Opened and slow ox for about 10 hours. First on the noze when poured I swear was cassis, violet, pepper and peppermint. Peppermint faded leaving cassis and violet. Even at young age this is well balanced with dark fruit and cassis, pepper, smoked meat. The tannins are balanced as is the acidity which are fairly prominent on the finish but not at all unpleasant. This is starting at a fantastic place and cannot wait to see this develop.

December 6, 2016 - Simply an amazing wine. Opened on Monday morning and let it sit until 3pm today on Tuesday. Decanted until 5:30pm. Beautiful nose of sweet dark cherries and a dusty attic. Delicious dark berries on the palate. Super smooth and well integrated. Very accessible at this young age. Can only imagine what this will be like in 10 years. Excellent with some Stilton blue cheese, some aged Westminster cheddar and Prosciutto. Sipped on it for 5 hours. It changed a bit showing some different flavor nuances. Very nice Syrah. Glad I bought a case
