December 19, 2023 - What a fun wine - very enjoyable. Admittedly reticent on the nose, there is faint aromas of dark cherry. But the palate pops with immense flavor of fruit and spice. Dark cherry, blackberry, and some blueberry, supported by tobacco and vanilla; meanwhile, above these are notes of zesty white pepper. Full bodied, complex, and long lasting, with zest, fruit, and bitter notes on the finish.

April 16, 2017 - Very well made. Smooth on the palate with dark cherry and raspberry. Medium to full body with a moderate length finish. Lacks the intensity that I remember when I purchased this.
