August 12, 2023 - PNP. Rich dark fruit. Cassis, blackberry and chocolate. Decent acidity, soft tannins and a bit of heat on the finish. Well made in the modern style. Still drinking well, but don’t think it will develop further, drink over the next five years.

October 14, 2021 - Sadly, my last '14. These are in their prime drinking window imho. And I don not believe there is any upside. So I would drink up if you still have.

April 3, 2021 - Not the last word in complexity, but the fruit here is delicious. Black cherries, fleshy plums, and a little licorice. The tannins are well integrated at this point. No need to hold, as I don’t think this improves from here.

February 22, 2021 - Not going to score this. It’s not a bad wine; it’s just not my style. At all. It’s B.I.G. Out of the starting gate it was thick and syrupy: all cola, ripe raspberry liqueur, milk chocolate. But there was plenty of acidity which certainly helped. An hour in the glass and it had improved: a bit less syrup, more tertiary bramble and spice. Or perhaps I was just getting used to it. On day 2 the raspberry liqueur was still dominant, but the wood spice was also really coming through. Not a subtle wine, that’s for sure.
