October 20, 2020 - A good QPR that's still drinking OK. Ripe, dark, fruits and spicy. Had a bottle last year and remember it being a little better. Would drink this one soon.
Day 1: with veggie lasagna. Dark red-purple, Concord grape, ripe fruits
Day 2: with with grilled cheese, low sodium red pepper tomato soup, and berries. Raisin, fruit cake, baking spices
Day 3: with shrimp tacos. A little sour and bitter today. -

December 20, 2019 - Clear medium ruby. No evidence of sediment or gas. Aromas of black pepper and plums. The wine is dry and rustic, featuring notes of raspberries, plums, cherries, earth, all spice, and herbs.
Acid is medium, alcohol is medium-plus. The tannins are dusty and firm. Undeniably old-world with in style and character. Great QPR here at $13.
