May 31, 2007 - Fruit bomb. My benchmark for petite sirah so far. Squid ink color and tons of chocolate and dark berries. Gives you purple teeth for hours.

April 8, 2007 - Right or wrong, this is my benchmark for Petit Sirahs. Rich in berries, cocoa, cassis, dark fruit, with just enough earthiness to keep it intereresting. I've had this with everything from nothing (just drinkin') to steaks, to lamb, to dark chocolate. A big red with flexibility and a chameleon-like quality to pair with just about anything suited for reds.
