January 9, 2016 - dark plum red; sl VA, not unpleasant, with other high toned volatile chemical notes & cherry bonbon character; lush, extracted, mouth feel more to the sweet cherry/ red raspberry side of the fruits; a nice hint of dark chocolate just before the fast, dry tannin finish. Based on other notes regarding the drinking window I don't find any lack of pleasant fruity character but I don't find any tertiary development either.

    July 21, 2013 - Drinking beautifully now

January 11, 2013 - This wine is at peak. Lovely notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, blackberry bramble, bell pepper. Dense rich mouthfeel with long clean finish.

June 13, 2012 - Very nice. This wine is in a very good place right now and was ready on the pop and pour. Great fruit with the Cab Franc playing a very prominent role with lots of green pepper notes on the nose and palate. The merlot fleshed it out nicely. The finish had decent length.
    Would buy again.
