  April 17, 2022 - Drank one of these a few days ago; had brought two up from the cellar. Again, vibrant yellow gold. Wonderful nose: pineapple, like the previous note; but there is a creaminess here that I didn't get with the first one: the lemon is more subdued, between lemon yogurt and lemon custard; and the whiff of banana (still there) more like a banana cream pie. Graham cracker. Mouthfeel a bit lighter than the last one, but not detrimental in the slightest. Significantly better purity of fruit (my previous note was a bottle that had been open a couple days in the fridge): subtle citrus, green apple, as well as a light minerality. Good, but not great, length. Nice acidity; balanced; just singing for me. Need to go get some of that truffle cheese and crackers from the previous note to accompany. Precursor to Easter dinner. $55 from the list.

  April 12, 2022 - Beautiful yellow gold. Nose of pineapple, lemon, a whiff of banana continues on the palate. Pleasantly weighty mouthfeel, with good acidity and balance. Great pairing with truffle gouda cheese and Ritz crackers. $55 from the list in 2017.

  May 29, 2017 - Melon, banana, green apple,apricot on the nose. Well-balanced on the palate. 14.7% ABV, but not the least bit hot. Long finish. If I have any criticism of this wine, it is a bit short on acidity.
