April 6, 2022 - First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind.
Lime and lime cordial with a tiny stone fruit underpin, slight honey, slight kerosene. In the mouth it's softly acidity, a little bitter, the fruit muted and more stone fruity, slight alcohol warmth, textured grip.
Phew, the nose immediately said aged Riesling, the palate said no no no no. Totally confused. Head was stuck on Riesling tracks after nose and I couldn't get away from that.

February 12, 2022 - Medium yellow. Pretty neutral nose, but medium weight with a glycerine feel, underripe pineapple and waxy pear flavors, and excellent acidity and soil on the finish. Rich without the heaviness of Marsanne/Rousanne Rhône wines. I'm pretty sure I've never had a white from Mont-Redon, and it showed admirably well, serving as a good accompaniment to a dish of scallops in an herbed butter sauce.

February 7, 2021 - This is rich, well structured, delicious and a beauty of a wine. My friend Jim and I consumed during the second half of the 2021 Super Bowl with home-made chili and holy-hell hot wings I slow roasted on the BBQ. The wine held its own. It was rich, big and had a long perfect finish. Cheers.

November 9, 2020 - I would say perfect right now. You got 'em, drink 'em!

May 4, 2020 - Fine, rich floral, fine acid
Richness on the palate, good acid, length, structure, minerality. A lovely but not great wine. Stands up to rich food well. Now-2026 at least.
